Class Overview

Research points to the development of chronic disease in older populations not as a consequence of aging alone, but as a product of decreased activity and less-than-healthy lifestyle choices.   FITT 55+ is a strength and conditioning class for older adults who want to move and use their bodies and are not content to simply sit on the couch getting older.   Strength training and conditioning can help both stave off, as well as reduce, the effects of many chronic diseases. Classes occur at the Mt. Lebanon location on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10am.    There are no prerequisite fitness levels or abilities. Our coaches and instructors are educated and trained in modifying all movements for your current abilities!

Know before you go

  • Please arrive ON TIME or early for class, especially if you are new to the facility (electronic waiver will need to be signed)
  • If you have any limitations or injuries you MUST let your coach know at the beginning of class so they can properly modify the workout for you
  • Food and beverage at the studio is credit card only (please visit the front desk to add this information)
  • Please read the street signs and park accordingly
  • Locker room hours are from their first class and through closing time (No one is permitted to leave any belongings overnight)
