STUDIO OVERVIEW

As a space for pause and sanctuary, Humming Puppy provides a yoga experience that honors traditional yogic practices.  Guided movement alongside a curated and resonant ‘Hum’, a frequency of their own design. More than just the physical practice, Humming Puppy's space offers a journey of sensations that contrast a fast-paced outside world. Be warmly received into the lounge area, sanctorius bathrooms and sacred shala; all an expressive nod to thoughtful and practical design.  Classes are not based on any one yoga style but reflect authentically the inspirations and backgrounds of the teacher. All offerings will include the fundamental principles of breath - pranayama, movement-asana and awareness-meditation. Classes are ‘warm’ and conducted in a room typically heated to 80 degrees. Humming Puppy offers a revered space to practice and one that reverberates with a ‘Hum’ in place of music. A soundscape that combines both digital and organic sound frequencies; specifically 7.83hz and 40hz. By immersing yourself in these sound-waves during practice, you may begin to experience enhanced concentration and focus.
