Class Overview

TRX which stands for, Total Body Resistance Exercise, and is revolutionary workout method that uses your body weight and gravity as resistance to build strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, core and joint stability simultaneously. It requires the use of the TRX Suspension Trainer, a performance training tool that leverages gravity and the user’s body weight to complete the exercises. People who like yoga and Pilates tend to like TRX because there are some crossovers. But it's also great for runners, cyclists, or anyone who is an endurance athlete and wants to have more strength training. Because you can simply adjust your body position to add or decrease resistance, you’re in control of how much you want to challenge yourself on each exercise – making it the perfect piece of equipment for people of all fitness levels. With TRX, you ARE the weight or machine! Just by moving your feet closer to or further from the anchor point, you make the exercise harder or easier. Beyond that, studies have shown that the TRX Suspension Trainer is scientifically proven to promote core work on nearly every exercise (hence the saying: all core, all the time). There are so many TRX exercises, and with so many progression levels, you’ll always have a fresh workout. Exercising never gets boring with the TRX. There’s always a new way to challenge yourself. TRX builds your muscles in ways you’ve never worked them before, while still being easy on the joints and less risky in terms of injury.
