Shaolin Temple Kung Fu is renowned the world over as one of the oldest and most representative forms of Chinese Martial Arts. Developed over a period spanning 1,500 years in China's Henan region, Shaolin Kung Fu is based on the unique combination of Chan Philosophy, Martial Arts Skills and Medical knowledge. In practical application, Shaolin Kungfu emphasizes the four pillars of classical martial arts, kicking, striking, throwing, and grappling. From a medical, or philosophical perspective, Shaolin Kung Fu is more than a martial art, it is a complete system of human optimization.
