Class Overview

This grounding and restorative class is a hybrid of yin + breathwork in resetting your body and your mind. The combination invites one to go deeper by preparing the body on a physical level with yin, followed by releasing and resetting the nervous system with Transformative Breathwork, a 3 stage Prana Yama technique using two inhales and one exhale, all in and out of the mouth. This practice is known in disciplining the overactive brain, while supporting the release of toxic energy, unprocessed emotions, limiting beliefs and old anxieties while inducing ones creativity and joy. Flooding the body with oxygen can increase energy levels, improve moods by releasing endorphins similar to a "runner's high”, as well as aid in better muscle health and soft tissue healing. This practice aids in one becoming fully present as well as undergoing greater mental clarity, deep relaxation and bliss.
