Class Overview

This class will work to balance all muscle groups' strength and flexibility, with an emphasis on challenging the core muscles with each movement; yet a safe method to sculpt your body and to feel increased agility in your every day movements. Mat pilates is done on the floor using an exercise or yoga mat, which employs controlled breathing during body weight resisted movement to build core strength. Mat Pilates has been shown to increase abdominal endurance, flexibility, and balance.

Know before you go

  • Please arrive 5-10 minutes before class to check in with your instructor
  • For any cycle classes, regular tennis shoes or SPD clips fit our Stages bikes (we do not rent out shoes)
  • For yoga, barre, and heated bootcamp classes, please bring a personal mat
  • Studios are open 20 minutes before and after class.
