Class Overview

Looking for well-organized intermediate-level volleyball? Join us at the Disney Magnet School, where we play on a single court (no balls flying in from other courts!) You can always expect a welcoming environment and good time. We have recently experienced several late cancellations and no-shows, leading us to adjust the number of players to 14. This way, each team will have a substitute available when rotating in. This format will help us ensure that games start on time and that there are enough players in case someone cancels late or fails to show up.   Participants at this level have an understanding of volleyball formations, know the rules of volleyball, and play to the best of their ability with a positive attitude towards the other players on the court.   LocationThe Disney Magnet School is located at 4140 N Marine Dr, Chicago, IL 60613. Enter through Door 6, which is the door closest to the playground on the west side of the building. Take the stairs to the second floor and the gym will be immediately to your right. Check in with the Grab A Game host on the court. Show up 10-15 minutes early and plan to stay the whole time. The Grab A Game host will check players in, form teams, and make sure everything is organized and fun. All you need to do is show up ready to play! Pricing$15 per person*$65 for a 5-pack of sessions*$35 for a Weekly Pass (up to 5 games within 7 days)* *Plus 9% City of Chicago Amusement Tax and 5% Processing Fee First-time players will have the option to purchase two games for $20 when checking out EquipmentOur staff will make sure the court is set up and a game ball is provided. You’re welcome to bring a ball but please make sure you write your name and phone number on it. Minimum Number of Players and Playing Formats:We will play with a minimum of 8 players registered 2 hours before game time. If we have not met that minimum, the event will be canceled, and your payment will be returned to your account as a credit for another game of the same price. Players must be 18 or older. There are no gender requirements, and we strive to make a welcoming environment where everyone feels like they belong. Make sure you sign up for a game that best matches your level of play, so you have the best experience possible. What's included in the price?Your payment helps to cover the rental costs, the hourly pay for your event host, equipment, and ensures a well-organized event. Cancelation Policy:When you register, we're counting on you to be there, but we understand that plans change. Cancelations made 2 or more hours in advance will automatically receive a credit for another game of the same price. No-shows and cancelations made within 2 hours of the start time will not receive a credit. No refunds. Game credits are good for a year from the date they were purchased.
