Class Overview

The Mid Level Reformer Class requires spinal flexibility, good abdominal control, wrist and shoulder stability and strength, good coordination and the ability to follow direction to be able to handle the addition of intermediate Pilates Reformer exercises. You must have taken at 15-20 Level 1 classes within 8 weeks time to be tagged for a Mid Level Reformer Class. This class is not for the newcomer to Pilates or for someone who does not regularly attend Reformer Classes. Please remember we require Grippy Socks to be worn while taking class!!

Know before you go

  • Two people are required for a class to be held.
  • The studio highly recommends attending the New Client Orientation Class if you have no Reformer experience. Experienced clients begin with Level 1 classes regardless of previous experience. All clients in group classes must be equally familiar with the class choreography and equivalent in physical ability. Moving to the next level requires two teacher recommendations.

The goal at Pilates Reforming New York is for everybody to experience both the personal and professional positive impact and improved quality of life. Pilates Reforming NY primarily uses the Pilates reformer, but they employ all the Pilates apparatus with faithful adherence to the Pilates Principles.
