Class Overview

This calming practice focuses on long-held postures that target the deep layers of fascia and connective tissue. Yin is designed to enhance flexibility and promote joint mobility by holding poses for extended periods (3-5 minutes). Combined with meditation, this class helps students cultivate mindfulness, allowing them to release tension and move into a deeper state of relaxation and awareness. This class is beginner-friendly. Know before you go

  • All classes are instructed in a heated room (90-105 degrees F)
  • Be sure to bring a mat, yoga towel, and water with you. (May be purchased or rented from the Studio)
  • Arrive Early. Doors lock 5 minutes before class. Late students will not be admitted.
  • Cell phones and electronic devices are not allowed in the yoga room. Please silence them and store with personal belongings.
  • Tell your instructor if you have any personal injuries, if you are pregnant, and/or do not want hands-on adjustments.
  • The entrance to the studio is located on W 230th St. Street parking only. We share an entrance with Advanced Endoscopy Center.
  • Bronx Yoga Lab no longer requires proof of vaccination. Masks remain optional for vaccinated students and are strongly encouraged for those who remain unvaccinated against Covid-19.
