What makes it unique and why you should try it: In a 60-minute barre3 class, you can obtain a full body workout for a fraction of the cost of hiring a personal trainer or a Pilates instructor. You will always work your arms, legs, seat and core, receive coaching throughout the workout, and learn to actively stretch for quicker recovery and enhanced flexibility.
Tips for first-timers: barre3 Georgetown is conveniently located on the newly-redeveloped Georgetown waterfront on the ground floor of Old Dodge Warehouse at the corner of Wisconsin Ave NW and K Street NW. The studio includes a nice locker room with a shower, a lounge featuring an original fireplace, and a childcare area.

In 2008, Jill climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, an amazing mental and physical challenge, and among barre3 Georgetown's instructor team, they have completed a couple dozen marathons and many triathlons.
